January 23rd: C4+Team BC Riders Endure AMRAP testing at Challenge By Choice and MAP test at RIM Cycle Studio, thanks to Jamie Hill in Squamish, BC to get a baseline fitness level to see how much they can improve their fitness during the next month.
January 24th: C4+Team BC Riders shuttle Cypress mountain.
After a tough day of fitness testing, the riders headed to Cypress Mountain the next day to do some laps! The weather complied again, and didn’t dump too much rain and snow on them. Even if it did pour, that’s ok. The Shore is meant to be ridden wet. One about Cypress is, there are no easy trails. “Warm up trail? There are no ‘warm up’ trails on cypress, they’re all gnarly!.”
During lunch, Cory brought up a great point. He may have been talking about training at the time, but it really applies to everything in life. “If you’re not 10 minutes early, you’re late.” Here is a link to a post that goes a little more in depth to what this means.
